meditate in ur own way

We look inside and start to peel off everything in our attempt to find the core or essence of Nature…

…one layer at the time – like peeling the onion. Some layer release floods of tears, some release bubbling laughter…

We go deeper and deeper and suddenly there is this shift!

You realise that the deeper you go, and the closer you seem come to the core you are seeking – the broader and wider everything becomes. And the inside shows up to be much, much more far-reaching and extensive than the outside…

And you just know that there is NO ESSENCE to find – only the Universe!!!

A few days ago, I allowed myself this magical insight of no essence, and then I randomly picked a book and a passage to read…

Soon I found myself with “Zen Master Raven”, by Robert Aitken in my hands, reading:

Essential Nature:

Early one morning Woodpecker flew in for a special meeting with Raven and asked, “I´ve heard about essential nature, but I´m not sure what it is. Is it something that can be destroyed?”
Raven said, “That’s really a presumptuous question.”
Woodpecker ruffled her feathers a little and asked, “You mean I shouldn´t question the matter?”
Raven said, “You presume there is one.”

And my spontaneous response to this was my hearty laughter of recognition!

In thanks I wanted to share this with all of Universe…!!!

…yesterday Tim Shullberg handed me the “game” that made me write this note… He suggested me to pick a book and read the 5:th sentence on page 56…

“Zen Master Raven” was still lying next to my laptop so I opened it and read:

“I´m not sure there is one, she said”

And of course Universe gave me yet another reason to laugh - and write!

Thanks sahil,
Thanks amalisan,
Thanks Everyone,
